If you see a street light misbehaving in Alford - take a note of the number on the column and ring the Town Clerk.  Some lights belong to ELDC, some to LCC and some to the local housing association.  The Town Clerk will report it for you.

A new way of working is being tried at the Alford Corn Exchange, the Town Clerk is now acting as a “mini” customer service officer to help offer the public a better service.  You can now access some District Council functions through the Town Clerk - make payments by card or apply for your bus pass.  Open each morning 9 to 12 Monday to Friday.
