On the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds and within easy distance of the coastal resorts of Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea, Alford offers a unique glimpse into a traditional market town.  With its regular outdoor markets on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Market Town is complimented in the summer months with the Craft Market .  A lack of major chain stores allow the shops in Alford to offer a personal service and there is little that cannot be bought here in town.
